Threads disappearing as soon as the person who starts them gets challenged on his agenda
Mods demanding that posters alter content of their posts, or get banned, and for no other reason than those members questioning the alteria-motives of the moderators......

You're right, the bias of the Mods is getting from the sublime to the ridiculous.
When they start targeting members over their "sigs", they really have lost the plot.

I think it's called "pressure". I had a brief and inglorious reign as a mod years ago when Equils ran a board. Inexplicably he sent me an email out of the blue suggesting I become a co-mod and I agreed, with some misgivings but I agreed.
It didn't last long. I had Premier and all that crowd to deal with and they were like Christopher Pyne in the House of Reps when Peter Slipper was Speaker and again when Anna Burke was Speaker. You try to be fair to everyone and you try so hard that you end up being fair to no-one because you fall back on the black-letter "rules". In the end I wimped out and resigned as mod.
I don't think that Dib and Jody are deliberately acting in a partisan way - not in the way that Lechat did when she'd deliberately delete anything and everything I posted. Now that was a board war! I'm not saying that their decisions are right or even wise, but I don't believe they're motivated by malice.
Skippy has been given a three day holiday. I think he deliberately blew himself up with that "Dutch" thread and the remarks about schoolteachers.
What we've done is expose Skippy. He knows that with his slurs he crosses a line. Don't get angry, get clever and each of us could run rings around Skippy. Let him be the one that becomes so desperate when he finds himself looking stupid as his posts are exposed for the bullshit that they are that all he has to fall back on are his racism, his hangup about divorce and his bizarre problem with teachers and train drivers.
Come back to the board, Freddy. And stay cool.
