Well, that was bizarre!
Anybody see the interview?
I saw a replay of it on ABC NEWS 24 this morning.
Weird.

The veteran radio presenter wore his trademark tinted glasses, gold rings and held a glass throughout the interview which he sipped from between questions.

A number of journalists and high-profile celebrities tweeted about Laws' appearance, with many speculating on what he was drinking.
Ten journalist Tracey Spicer tweeted: "Is that (a) glass of Valvoline John Laws is holding @abc730 ? #knowwhatimean".
Some users shared a photo of Laws on television with different captions superimposed on it, including "Who's ya daddy" and "I don't always get interviewed...but when I do, I wear tortoise-shell sunglasses and sip on a bourbon and coke."
ABC reporter Sally Sara said: "Enjoyed the John Laws interview tonight. Wondering if @leighsales will have a glass of rum and coke on the set tomorrow night."
The ABC's managing director Mark Scott also weighed in: "Extraordinary. Know what I mean? #ABC730"
Mr Laws said he "thought what everyone else thought" of Jones' remark that Julia Gillard's father had "died of shame."
"It was careless, and I think he admits that, it was hasty and I think he admits that and it was cruel - I'm not sure he admits that."
Though he did not know how quickly the sponsors that had withdrawn advertisements from the show since the scandal broke would return, he said they would eventually "... because Alan Jones is a very competent broadcaster and he has a lot of listeners and he has a lot of people who accept what he says.
"Consequently he would have a lot of people who would buy the products that he would endorse. Of course they'll come back, I mean it's a commercial world."
Mr Laws said his sympathy for Mr Jones was not inconsistent with his views of his former rival: "I still believe Alan is very good at hypocrisy."
The segment ended with Mr Laws telling Leigh Sales he enjoyed their interview — "Yeah, I loved every minute" — before taking a final sip of his drink.
