snigger..If they don'nt nip this in the butt reckon we'll be seeing scooter races at the elderly homes. A spate of serious injuries has led to calls for uniform speed limits for motorised scooters and harsh penalties for breaking them. But as nursing homes ban usage indoors and shopping centres review their policies, is it fair cop or a step too far?

Nip it in the bud. Through not threw. Aisles not isles. However, I take your point. There ought to be a speed limit with these mobility scooters.

[/quote] I've seen a few geriatrics driving their scooters in the left hand lane of the road. Not to mention the local chemist who makes use of a display scooter to ride from his shop to the local news agent.
